Winter Wonderfuck

So, it's been a while since I've last posted.
The Internet is so slow.
It takes forever to upload a photo.
Anyway, here goes the story.

I didn't expect to do much once I was back in Oneida,
However, I also did not expect a spontaneous blizzard
to render me hopeless and useless.
I was stranded at home.
I was bored.
You see, I live on a hill.
A very steep hill.
I could not leave because not even our 4WD Crossover SUV
could make it up or down our steep, unsalted, iced-over hill.
Thank you Santa.
Thank you for the White Christmas.
But, no thank you for the shitload of frozen crack
you dumped everywhere for days on end.

By no means was it worse than New York City.
I saw photos of the snow
and omfg,
it was like God took a massive shit in heaven
and it froze on the way down to Earth.
Nearly 20 inches.
The subway and the buses were shut down.
Even the subway stations were snowed in!
My friend was snowed in at work and had to stay there overnight.
And even Uniqlo closed for a day!

Anyway, here are some photos of my backyard back home.
Enjoy!
Hope everyone had a great Christmas!
and Enjoy your New Years!
Can't wait to see everyone when I get back to New York.

A Walmart Catastrophe

This is my second day back in Tennessee.
In the morning, I drove back over to Anna's apartment.
I had mistakenly taken her MacBook charger,
and apparently,
she also crashed her new iPhone4,
within the day she got it.
So I went to return her charger with my best friend Jerrica.
We then took her iPhone to the Apple Genius Bar to have it serviced,
turns out, it was defective so she got a replacement phone.
After dropping her off at her apartment,
she suddenly realized that we forgot her MacBook at the Apple store,
freaking out, we called back to see if they had it.
And they did, so she said she will go back after work to get it.
Freak out over.
I then headed back to Oneida with Jerrica.
Not having driven in nearly a year,
it's safe to say my driving skills were a bit...not on point.
I nearly missed the exit going home,
and almost swerved into oncoming traffic.
Twice.
I need more practice.
Once I came back into Oneida, I met up with Pyper.

This is me and Pyper.
She is one of my best friends.
We went to Walmart!!!!!
=D

Duck...Duck....No Goose?

So we stopped by the Asian Supermarket in Knoxville,
to pick up some stuff for home.
This, clearly, is not as fresh as the ones hanging around ChinaTown...
God I miss real Asian food right now.
Oh well,
Going to eat Ghetto Asian food tomorrow at the restaurant.
Yummy.
Getting hungry right now.

Meron?

Ma'me....
I think you meant MELON.
*sigh*
Asians....>.>

A Warm Welcome

Twelve hours from my departure from NY,
I found myself stepping off the Asian Fung Wah Bus,
into my first of three weeks in Tennessee.
I was in Knoxville,
it was reminiscent of Staten Island in some ways.
It was a small city.
I found my sister waiting for me in Chloe, her white Mazda3.
We headed to her Knoxville apartment,
where she made me a breakfast feast of
eggs, bacon, toast, and chocolate chip pancakes.
It was gooooooood.
=D
I toured her apartment and her vast wall of liquor.
And her penis shooters...
Then I met her roommate's puppies, Twix and Tricot(sp?)
(Twix is shown below)
My parents came around noon and we went shopping.
Mom and Anna both got an iPhone 4 today.
We get to FaceTime each other now :)
Then, sadly, Anna went into work.
Won't get to see her until Christmas Day because of her work schedule.
=(

Dyslexia: Mest Bash Potatoes?

I initially meant to say,
The Best Mash Potatoes.
Popeyes.
Oh yes.

Uh...How About No?...(Part II)

This was the same pole as the other one.
Apparently, they wiped the other off.
And someone else immediately wrote this right after.
This was the next day.

Love That Leather

Hey guys,
this is the Rock&Republic leather biker jacket I just bought.
Love it!
It's black matte leather.
Zip pocket on the sleeve.
Center Front snap placket.
Two zip pockets on either side of the chest.
Two packet pockets on the waist,
And two hidden pockets behind that.
On the back, there are two shoulder blade vents.
And a knit vent at the small of the back.

The Day Before Departure

In the morning,
I gathered the Asians together,
Me, Andrea, Ting, Lisa, Yue Ping, Joanne, and Kevin.
Me, Lisa, and Andrea arrived first in SoHo.
We began the morning (12pm) walking around to shop.

We finally decided to stop for a snack,
at Prince St. Cafe.
It was an oddly long cafe.
It was about 10 ft wide near the entrance,
and we kept walking all the way back,
through the cafe to our table in the corner.
Once we got back there,
it looked amazing.
It was such a nice atmosphere,
and there were four huge skylights right above us.

I ordered a Red Velvet Cupcake and a Coffee.
Sooo good!!!

Andrea got the strawberry waffel to share.
Lisa got a Pina Colada.
Brunch, was amazing.

After Brunch, we met up with Joanne and Kevin.
Joanne woke up madd late.
Kevin stopped by Jack Spade and Uniqlo as he waited for her
while we had brunch.
He missed out.
I felt like the paparazzi.

We all ventured around SoHo
and making our way up to NoHo
We saw beautiful street art
and went into various boutiques and sample sales
I have not been this relaxed for a very long time.

Then we stopped at Forever21 to wait for Yue Ping to get off work

Then we went to Quan,
for Japanese Sushi
Forgot to take a "before" pic
=(
But theres an after pic!

After dinner at Quan,
We headed to one of NYC's hidden jems,
Vivi Bubble Tea,
They have the most amazing bubble tea there.
I got the Honey Dew with green tea, aloe, and jelly.
Lisa got the Strawberry Slush with tapioca.
We also go the Takiyoki,
It's squid, deep fried in a ball,
coved with a squid dressing and dried shredded squid.
Amazingggg!

I had a great night tonight.
I'm glad I could spend it with my friends before I left.
See you guys next year!!!
